The winery is named after the natural spring that offered fresh water to the packs of wolves that resided in the surrounding forests. This natural spring plays a key role in feeding the vines: the winery soil is mainly sandy which doesn't usually yield good results, but the spring underground lets the vines reach freshwater and “top up” whenever they need. The head winemaker is Anne Charlotte Melia-Bachas, devoted to organic farming and the creation of charming, elegant wines.
