Italy’s Veneto wine region has played a crucial part in Italy’s wine culture since Roman times, boosted by its close proximity to Venice and the Adriatic Sea. Today Veneto is a thriving wine region, producing world famous whites and sparkling wines, such as Prosecco, Pinot Grigio and Soave, to name a few.
