Refosco is a grape that differs greatly from other grapes because its stems are bright red instead of the more common green—this is what the name “Dal peduncolo rosso” takes after. It’s an excellent wine from the Bosco del Merlo reserves, from an indigenous vine that is heritage of the land, biodiversity and history. Its elegant flavour also has hints of dried plum, cinnamon and blackberry jam. Pair it with typical red meat dishes such as roast pork
