Produced from 100% hand-harvested Primitivo. It is one of the earliest harvests in Italy, starting during the incredibly hot summer, in August. This ensures for an incredibly ripe wine, with sweet notes that may remind you of some red dessert wines, while retaining a dry structure that allows it to be paired gracefully with rich meat dishes. Wonderfully intense on the nose, with notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum and tobacco. Structured by warming levels of alcohol, well structured tannins and concluding on a long balsamic finish.
