Marsannay is the only village that produces white, red and rose wines – often dubbed as the “Golden Gate” of the Cote de Nuits, being a historical site – the perfect foray into more premium wines thanks to its affordable prices. The wine itself is a beautiful deep red with an aroma of sour cherries, sugared red and blackcurrants, and red berry coulis followed by scents of fresh and sugar-coated almonds.
