Swirl's Red Selection

A classic blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec from Château Haut Lalande. It has a rich, aromatic bouquet of ripe black fruits, blackcurrant and strawberry, with spicy aromas of cloves and nuances of wood from its ageing in wooden barrels. The wine is full of Bordeaux charm, with a great balance of earthiness, good structure and silky tannins, and an aromatic and pure, satasfying finish.

The Barbera d’Alba is extremely intense and deep with a thick colour. It is tangy and cherry-like, with intense aromas of mature red fruits that dominate, along with notes of blackberry and prune. Pair it with oven-baked or roasted white meat, grilled meat and vegetables, meat stews, roasts and cheeses.

The name of this wine is called 360 because of its round taste and impressive balance. It is a perfect balance which blends the freshness and youthfulness of the Cabernet with the structure and power of the Merlot. The Merlot is aged for 5 years in barrel, which is a very long aging time for a wine at this price point. Its softness on the palate gives the inwe an elegant fullness of flavour, balanced by well-balanced acidity—it also has hints of cherry jam, black pepper and toasted hazelnut.
