From the Back of the Cellar: 4 Aged Bottles

Commercially, the right time to sell a wine is when it sells. But some wines are simply better if you wait. These four spent that time quietly in Swirl's warehouse, and all of them are drinking now.

What is in the set (1 bottle each, 4 total)

• Serramarrocco 2015 (Sicily, red): Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Past ten years the tannins have softened into dried fruit and leather. Decanting recommended. See the Cabernet guide and Barone di Serramarrocco.
• Barone di Serramarrocco Pignatello 2019 (Sicily, red): the grower's top cuvée from the local Pignatello grape. See the Pignatello guide.
• Madrechiesa 2020 (Tuscany, red): 100% Sangiovese, Morellino di Scansano Riserva. See the Sangiovese guide and Terenzi.
