On Friday 9 October we held the Life in Rosé Charity Dinner at Trattoria Civi in Shirokanedai. It was the first Japan event of Life in Rosé, the pink ribbon project that Veneto winery Bosco del Merlo has been running in Italy since 2018. Every seat was taken and the room was full of life. To everyone who joined us: thank you, truly.
We opened with a Prosecco Rosé toast, then paired Civi's tasting menu with six Bosco del Merlo wines, from antipasto to dolce. Around the counter, guests who had never met were chatting like old friends within minutes. Talking wine, sharing a table, supporting a cause while having a good time: that is what Life in Rosé is about.
Our heartfelt thanks to the team at Trattoria Civi for a beautiful menu and a warm welcome, and to the Paladin family of Bosco del Merlo for trusting us with this project in Japan.

About the donation
10% of ticket revenue and of the wine sold on the night goes to the Japan Cancer Society's Hohoemi Fund, dedicated to ending breast cancer. On top of that, every Swirl purchase made in October counts toward the end-of-month Life in Rosé donation. We will report the total here and on our social channels in November.
