You live abroad. The people you want to thank are in Japan. We deliver the wine for you. Swirl is an Italian wine importer based in Tokyo. We gift-wrap the bottle you choose, add your personal message card, and ship it from within Japan straight to your friend or business partner. No customs, no international shipping, no paperwork.

Send wine to Japan in 3 steps

1. Choose the wine

Pick one bottle (or a few) from the selection below to suit the person and your budget.

2. Add wrapping and your card

In the cart, tick "Gift wrapping" (¥550). Write your message and your name as the sender in the order notes.

3. Enter their address

At checkout, enter the recipient's address in Japan as the shipping address. Overseas credit cards are accepted.

That is all. Wrapping, the card and delivery are handled with care by our team in Tokyo.

Your message card

We print the text you write exactly as it is and place the card with the wine. Japanese or English, both are fine. Please add your name as the sender, so the recipient knows straight away who the gift is from.

Delivery and payment

  • Delivery: within Japan only. We ship from our warehouse in Japan, so there are no customs duties or import formalities.
  • Shipping: ¥660. Free on orders of ¥15,000 or more.
  • Delivery time: choose your preferred time slot in the cart. For a specific date, add it to the order notes.
  • Payment: overseas-issued credit cards are accepted.
  • Prices: in Japanese yen, tax included.
  • Please note: as this is alcohol, we only deliver to recipients aged 20 or over.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order if I live outside Japan?

Yes. You can order from anywhere in the world. As long as the delivery address is in Japan, we will send it.

Can I write the card in English?

Yes. Japanese or English, we put your text on the card exactly as written. Feel free to use the Japanese examples above.

Can you add a noshi (Japanese gift wrapper)?

For oseibo and other formal gifts, write the inscription you would like (for example 御歳暮 or 御礼) and your name in the order notes. We will accommodate where we can.

Will it arrive in time?

We ship orders as soon as they are ready. For gifts with a fixed date, such as oseibo or an anniversary, please order with time to spare.
