After leaving the corporate world, she first worked as an assistant at a cooking and table coordination school, and then became involved in the establishment of an art gallery in Tokyo. Currently, as the representative of Studio del Sol, an interior design company, where she leads the renovation of Tokyo apartments, curating both the art and the interior design. Sasaki was selected to participate in international conducting master classes in Europe, where he received training from such masters as J. Panula, H. Andreschuk, and M. Stringer. He was awarded the Diploma at the 9th and 10th Fiterberg International Conducting Competition in 2012 and 2017. He has conducted major orchestras in Japan. He has been a Conducting Fellow of the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010, and served as its Associate Conductor until September 2019. He is currently active in the orchestra, brass band, chorus, opera, and ballet. He has also appeared in NHK’s public recording concerts, conducted orchestral recordings and official concerts in pop culture, and appeared in the movies “Maestro! and “A Man Called Pirate” and other masterpieces, currently he is involved in numerous different projects with studio recordings, and he does training for movie actors who impersonate orchestra conductors. When not conducting music, Sasaki enjoys spending time drinking wine with his friends at dinner parties and restaurants. Read less
